About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Haufe Group. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and enhancing our innovative cloud-based applications, primarily focusing on the Lexware Office suite. Your expertise will contribute to delivering seamless, robust, and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our diverse customer base.

This position offers the flexibility of working from our office in Freiburg im Breisgau or remotely from Leipzig or Berlin, supporting a healthy work-life balance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess several years of professional experience in developing cloud-based applications, with a strong foundation in microservice architectures, database design, and RESTful APIs. Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is essential, and experience with frontend frameworks such as React is highly advantageous. Familiarity with AWS or willingness to learn and work within cloud environments is expected.

Candidates should demonstrate a passion for high-quality software development, with a structured approach to work and an ability to quickly understand complex business domains. Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C2 level) are mandatory, as is a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork. A genuine interest in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies will set candidates apart.

Responsibilities As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be an integral part of our agile, cross-functional team, including Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analysts, developers, and UX designers.

You will extend and improve the Lexware Office codebase, ensuring it adapts to changing business requirements through collaborative development efforts.

You will actively contribute to team discussions, providing constructive feedback and helping to make informed, consensus-driven decisions.

Work independently to identify, plan, and implement robust, feasible technical solutions for new features and enhancements.

Address technical challenges proactively, either by resolving issues yourself or consulting with colleagues, emphasizing short communication channels and transparency.

Engage in continuous learning by exploring new topics and integrating acquired knowledge into ongoing projects.

Ensure your code maintains high standards of quality, contributing to the overall success and reliability of Lexware Office.
