**About The Role** We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer / Backend Developer (m/w/d) to join our team at our Hamburg location. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring system stability, security, and scalability. You will work closely with a small, dedicated team, taking on responsibilities from day one, including system orchestration, security optimization, project planning, and backend development. Your contributions will directly impact our digital transformation efforts, and you will have the opportunity to shape innovative solutions, particularly in areas related to AI and cloud migration. **Qualifications**

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Media Informatics, or a comparable qualification (including entry-level candidates)
• Practical experience with Unix, Windows Server, Docker, Portainer, PHP/Laravel, GitLab, and project management tools such as Asana
• Knowledge of database systems like MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with some exposure to project management methodologies
• Interest or initial experience in AI-driven development and automation
• Familiarity with cloud migration processes is a plus
• Responsibility awareness, teamwork, and a proactive attitude towards continuous learning

**Responsibilities**

• Support and maintain the stability of our IT infrastructure, including orchestration using Docker, Portainer, and related tools
• Assess, optimize, and implement security standards across our systems
• Participate actively in project planning, prioritization, and execution, working closely with developers, IT service teams, and product owners within Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Develop and enhance existing software solutions, contributing your own ideas and innovations
• Engage with AI and automation initiatives, integrating new approaches into current workflows
• Assist in the migration of on-premise systems to cloud environments, helping to shape our digital transformation
