(Junior) Sales Manager - DACH

Location: Munich, Germany | Full-time

About the Role Insta360 is looking for an energetic, proactive and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our European team in Munich. This is a hands-on sales and retail role for someone who already has their first few years of commercial experience and is ready to take the next step. You will work closely with our retail and distribution partners, spend time in stores and with key accounts, and help drive Insta360's sales performance and brand presence across the market. We are a young, international and fast-moving team. We value initiative, energy, ownership and a hands-on mentality. Your Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key retail, distribution and channel partners, with an initial focus on the DACH region and selected European markets.
• Drive sell-in and sell-through performance and identify new commercial opportunities with existing and potential partners.
• Regularly visit retail stores and key accounts to understand what is happening at shop-floor level and ensure strong execution of the Insta360 brand.
• Monitor product availability, stock levels, sell-through, pricing, promotions and competitor activities at store level.
• Manage and support promoter activities, including coordination, briefing, performance monitoring and ensuring promoters effectively represent the Insta360 brand.
• Support the planning and execution of in-store merchandising, POS materials and retail displays, ensuring products are presented according to brand and retail standards.
• Manage and monitor MSD / in-store retail execution, working with retail partners and internal teams to continuously improve product visibility, placement and presentation.
• Support channel marketing activities, retail promotions, new product launches and in-store campaigns together with the marketing team.
• Monitor sales forecasts and inventory levels and work proactively with partners and internal teams to maintain healthy stock and product availability.
• Analyze sales and retail performance and turn data and observations from the market into concrete actions.
• Support negotiations, business reviews and joint business planning with key accounts.
• Represent Insta360 at customer meetings, trade shows, retail events, product trainings and other industry activities.
• Work closely with colleagues across Europe and our global teams in a highly international and cross-cultural environment.
• Take a hands-on approach. As part of a growing team, everyone is expected to contribute beyond their immediate job description when needed.

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, International Business or a related commercial field is required.
• 2–3 years of hands-on sales experience, preferably within consumer electronics, technology, retail or another fast-moving consumer category.
• Practical retail and shop-floor experience is highly valued. You should understand how products are actually sold, presented and promoted in stores.
• Experience working with consumer electronics retailers, distributors, key accounts or other channel partners is a strong advantage.
• Experience with promoter management, retail activation and/or field sales activities.
• Understanding of in-store merchandising, product displays, POS execution and retail standards (MSD).
• Practical experience with channel marketing, sales forecasting, sell-through analysis and stock/inventory management.
• Strong commercial instincts and a genuine enthusiasm for sales, retail and building customer relationships.
• Fluent German and English are essential. An additional European language is a strong advantage.
• Valid Category B driving licence is required, as regular store visits, customer meetings and business travel are an important part of the role.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures, countries and ways of working.
• Organized, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in consumer technology, cameras, action sports, content creation and the creator economy is a plus.

How We Work Our Munich office is the home of our European team, and we believe strongly in the value of working together in person. This is an office-based position in Munich. When you are not travelling, visiting key accounts, checking retail stores or attending events, you are expected to work from our Munich office alongside the team. Regular travel within Germany and occasional travel across Europe are an integral part of the position.
