**About The Role** We are seeking a highly skilled Software Fullstack Developer \& Architect (d/f/m) to join our innovative Airbus Defence and Space Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and overseeing complex software systems for upcoming and existing projects tailored to German and international customers. The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the technical architecture of critical defense projects, ensuring the development of secure, scalable, and efficient software solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and product owners to gather requirements, model software architectures, and implement high-quality code. Your expertise will help shape the future of defense technology, contributing to national and global security efforts.

**Qualifications** The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar senior development role within agile or systems engineering environments is essential. Strong knowledge of designing and implementing complex software systems, including microservices, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise applications, is required. Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe, along with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational abilities, self-motivation, and the capacity to inspire and motivate team members. Additionally, familiarity with defense industry standards, practices, and relevant technologies such as Cameo Modelling, REST APIs, and AI-enabled SDLC tools will be advantageous.

**Responsibilities**

• System Design: Create scalable and secure software architectures spanning front-end, back-end, and database layers, ensuring robustness and compliance with industry standards.
• Full Stack Development: Develop intuitive user interfaces and robust server-side logic, APIs, and databases, utilizing AI-enabled SDLC tools to streamline development processes.
• Technical Leadership: Lead development teams by setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to foster a culture of excellence.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and requirements engineers to gather, analyze, and document software requirements using tools like Confluence and Cameo Modelling.
• Architecture Modeling: Design high-level software architectures, defining key components, modules, and interfaces to meet project specifications and future scalability needs.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and design patterns such as microservices and REST APIs to optimize system performance and maintainability.
• Communication \& Documentation: Clearly communicate architectural decisions to all project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical feasibility.
• Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks during software design and implementation phases, logging issues in Jira, and collaborating with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
• Testing \& Validation: Work alongside Verification, Validation, and Test teams to ensure the architecture supports testability and meets all quality and security standards.
