### The Role

This is a key commercial role with responsibility for driving sustainable growth across both GBD and Alphalytik. We are looking for someone who combines commercial thinking with a strong hands-on approach and enjoys building business directly in the market.

Your mission ============

### Key Responsibilities

• **Drive new business for Alphalytik** by identifying and winning new customers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and positioning our GMP analytical services in national and international markets.
• **Grow international sales at GBD** by supporting new market development and expanding our global distributor network for virological quality control products.
• **Identify market opportunities** by tracking industry developments, analysing competitors, and spotting new areas for growth within diagnostics and life sciences.
• **Represent both companies externally** at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events, while building strong relationships with distributors, decision-makers, and key accounts.
• **Own the sales cycle** from prospecting and first contact through to negotiation and closing. This is a hands-on role with a high level of autonomy and a strong focus on execution.

Your profile ============

### Your Profile

You are a commercially minded life sciences professional with a proven ability to develop business, build relationships, and deliver results.

### What You Bring

• A degree in life sciences, such as biology, biotechnology, medicine, or a related field, or a comparable qualification with strong technical understanding.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in diagnostics, life sciences services, pharma services, or a related sector.
• Solid track record or strong foundation in market development and working with distributor networks.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial, and hands-on mindset. You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and delivering results in an agile environment with flat hierarchies.
• Professional fluency in both German and English.
